BEIA and ONCOSCREEN

SARS-COV-2 pcr diagnostics kit. Epidemiologist in protective suit, mask and glasses works with patient swabs to detect specific region of 2019-nCoV virus causing Covid-19 viral pneumonia.

As the ONCOSCREEN project enters its last year, the consortium continues its work toward delivering innovative risk-based solutions for colorectal cancer (CRC) screening. At this stage, the focus extends beyond the development and validation of technical components, placing increasing emphasis on how these solutions can be adopted, and effectively used by those they are designed for.

One of BEIA’s main contributions throughout the project has been the development of training materials for ONCOSCREEN tools. These take the form of clear and well-structured resources, which will enable the adoption of these solutions by end users, including healthcare professionals, technical staff, and other stakeholders involved in screening programmes.

BEIA has supported the preparation, structuring and refinement of these user-oriented training materials, which are designed to address different user profiles and practical use cases, helping ensure that users understand how ONCOSCREEN tools can be applied in a diverse range of settings. This work supports the project’s longer-term objectives by reducing barriers to adoption and facilitating knowledge transfer both within and beyond project partners.
