Brief Biography of Partner
GERCOR is an independent non-profit multidisciplinary cooperative group established in 1997. Its aim is to facilitate the development and conduct of therapeutic trials through its network of oncology experts, research investigators, and other medical professionals. GERCOR has gained international recognition and visibility for its clinical research in digestive cancers over the last several years. Through its network, GERCOR provides a high potential for the inclusion of patients at the national and international level.
GERCOR carries out its mission through partnerships and collaborations with many national and international cooperating groups. Moreover, it is involved in cancer studies promoted by other organizations.
Partner’s Role in ONCOSCREEN
GERCOR will play a key role in the design, implementation and validation of the clinical trials in ONCOSCREEN. The group will leverage its network of clinicians, biologists and pathologists. Thanks to the existing collection of clinical data and tissue/blood samples of patients with metastatic colorectal cancer, GERCOR will be able to successfully include patients in the ONCOSCREEN trials.
