Brief Biography of Partner
The Health Economics Research Group (ECOSALUD) is one of the research groups of the University of La Rioja (URIOJA), which was established almost 20 years ago. It has seven active members. ECOSALUD research expertise focuses on the economic evaluation of health technologies. It has contributed to nine European Union’s funded projects as well as several national projects. It has published numerous academic articles and maintained networks with other academic institutions in the EU as well as in Latin America. ECOSALUD has collaborated with stakeholders in the health technology industry and with central and regional governments in Spain. It actively participates in scientific forums and professional bodies such as the Spanish Health Economics Association.
Partner’s Role in ONCOSCREEN
URIOJA research team will lead the health economics analysis of the ONCOSCREEN trials with support of the medical partners. It will contribute to the evaluation of the ONCOSCREEN solutions with health economics. In addition, it will support tasks related to the analysis of innovative financial schemes for colorectal cancer screening programmes between private and public healthcare.
