Brief Biography of Partner
The University of Franche-Comté is a multidisciplinary university established in different parts of the Franche‐Comté region (North‐East France) with 27 laboratories. It offers a wide range of courses with all levels of European diplomas, but also high-quality training for professionals. Academic and professional training courses are closely related to the research activities carried out in the laboratories. The laboratories of the University of Franche-Comté explore various fields ranging from environmental and medical sciences to humanities and engineering sciences. Over the last years, UFC has been involved in almost thirty EU-funded projects, including 11 ongoing H2020 projects.
Partner’s Role in ONCOSCREEN
UFC is one of the clinical sites that will host the ONCOSCREEN trials in France. UFC will be actively involved in all the tasks related to the design, methodology, and evaluation of the clinical trials. UFC will participate in the evidence-based research study on the colorectal prevalence factors and will help to identify colorectal cancer biomarkers.
